(WARRENSBURG, Mo., digitalBURG) — Many UCM students enjoy afternoons playing cricket – by any means necessary. Cricket is especially popular in India, and with an increase in Indian international students from last year’s 1,506, the community can look forward to many backyard matches near campus.
Ajay Gaddi, 23, said he and his roommates can’t wait to play in their new yard.
“We’re missing cricket,” he said.
A cricket pitch has been under construction since last fall. Crews broke ground in November and planned to finish last spring. It is located behind the South Recreational Complex.
