Dean L. Roberts, age 94, of Knob Noster, Mo., passed away Dec. 1, at Western
Missouri Medical Center.
Cremation is planned and a graveside service will be held at a later date at the Knob Noster Cemetery.
Dean was born March 26, 1920, in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of George Arthur and Lillian (Lane) Roberts.

In 1946 he was united in marriage to Laura M. Boyd in Michigan. She preceded him in death on Feb. 7, 1966.
Dean graduated from Washta High School in Washta, IA. He then joined the U.S. Air Force and served during WWII and the Korean War. Dean retired in 1962 after 21 years with rank of Major. After his military career, he moved to Montserrat, Mo. and worked as a farmer. Dean was an elder in the Warrensburg Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses.
Dean is survived by his four daughters, Marjorie Robling and husband Philip of Crofton, Md.; Laura Waldo of Warrensburg, Mo.; Deborah Eck and husband Daniel of Knob Noster, Mo.; and Dorothy Faudi and husband Rick of Warrensburg, Mo.; and one son Dean Roberts Jr. of Knob Noster, Mo.; two sister-in-laws, Glenda Boyd and Della Wolf both of Greenville, Miss.;, 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, one brother Charles Roberts, and three sisters Maxine Byers, Nellie Ann Sands and Georgia Coulter.
