Dickens program featured at Lifelong Learning event

Lifelong Learning at UCM presents “God Bless Us, Everyone: Dickens and the Meaning of Christmas” at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at Heroes Restaurant and Pub in downtown Warrensburg at 107 W. Pine St. Joshua Taft, assistant professor of English at UCM, will offer insight into the author, Charles Dickens, and his classic novel, “A Christmas Carol.” The program is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be provided compliments of Lifelong Learning and Heroes.
