There will be two Food Safety Training classes this month on March 8 and March 27. On March 8, it will be from 10 a.m. to noon in the upper level classroom at Johnson County Community Health Services, 723 PCA road. On March 27, it will be at 2-4 p.m. in the same location.

These are an introductory course that covers the basics of safe food handling, dangers of food borne illness and personal hygiene. This course is recommended for all food service facility employees, such as wait staff, bartenders, cooks, deli workers and dishwashers. There are no fees associated with this course.
