UCM theater and dance department will be presenting “Our Town” at 7:30 p.m. in the Highlander Theater March 7, 8, 9 and 10, with a 2 p.m. matinee on March 11.

The cast and production staff for “Our Town,” by Thorton Wilder, has been announced by the director, Richard Herman, professor of theater. This show will celebrate his 31 years of theater at UCM as he retires May 31, according to a press release.

“Our Town” follows the lives of the George and Emily romance while experiencing change and growth, according to the press release.

The design team will be UCM theater alums, Tim Rothwell, instructor of theater, scenic designer; Kayla Jestila, instructor of theater, costume designer; and Daniel Parks.

The cast members include Jordan Malone as stage manager; Caleb Gazaway as Dr. Gibbs; Maya Strickland as Mrs Gibbs; Zach Hutchins as Mr. Webb; Adriana Luffman as Mrs Webb; Sam Davin, Melanie Grantham and Emily Coffin as Emily; Nathan Endreshak, Zach Kujath, and Trevor Jones as George; Raheem Fiedler-Bay as Wally; Ashlyn Reece as Rebecca; Kendra Simpson as Joe Crowell; Heather Marsh as Si Crowell; Travis Hampton as Howie Newsom; Elise Marshall as professor Willard; Demetrius Hampton as Constable Warren; Dalton Grafton as Simon Stimson; Allyson Latham as Mrs. Soames; Richard Herman as Joe Stoddard; and  Omari Collins as Sam Craig. The People of the Town include Connor Bosworth, Rachel Bland, James Hatten, Decoda Hoover, Anthony Johnson, Alyssa Haverly, Katelyn Tormena, and Derek Caswell.

Production staff, collaborating with the directors and designers, include assistant directors Kayla Helms and Adam Segura; stage manager Elizabeth Carter; assistant stage managers Ally Fields and Matthew Briggs; properties mistress Annie Hall; assistant properties mistress Maya Strickland; master electrician Cody Nelson; light board operator Ethan Anissy; costume manager Cassie Hoppas; assistant costume designer Kenlyn Shettlesworth; deck crew chief Caitlin Hahn; publicity coordinator Aaron Scully; publicity assistants Matthew Briggs, Tony Smith, Meghan Swovoda, Erin Clavin; box office manager Blake Legens; assistant box office manager McKenzie Mick; house manager Deanne Swaringen, assistant house manager Molly Ehrnman.

The box office will open from 9:30 to 4 p.m. weekdays, beginning for Season Ticket Holders Wednesday, Feb. 28, and for the general public on March 1.

Online Ticket sales will begin on Feb. 23.

Some seats reserved for Season Ticket Holders will not be released until March 1. Tickets for Our Town are $15 for the general public, $10 for UCM faculty and staff, and senior citizens and $7 for students. Children under the age of 5 years old will not be admitted.
