(PONCE, Puerto Rico) – Central Missouri Jennies bowler Mary Wells captured a gold medal in doubles competition at the Pan American Bowling Confederation Youth Championships on Monday night.
Wells and teammate Sarah Lokker took the top spot in the under 20 women’s division with a team average of 218.3 over six games.
Wells, who just completed her freshman year at UCM, had an average of 211.7 with a high-game of 266 to help capture the gold medal for Junior Team USA.
Competition at PABCON continues through July 12.
