(ARLINGTON, Texas) – UCM bowler Mary Wells has been selected to represent Junior Team USA at the 2013 Pan American Bowling Confederation Youth Championships.

Wells was one of eight individuals selected to represent Team USA and one of four girls on the roster. The event will take place in Ponce, Puerto Rico, from July 7-12 and features countries in the American Zone competing in singles, doubles, trios, team, all-events and match-play masters.

She was a first-team NTCA All-American selection this season for UCM after earning six All-Tournament Team honors during her freshman season. She was also named the Division II/III National Rookie of the Year, the fourth consecutive Jennie to win the award.
