(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) – The Central Missouri Jennies Bowling team continues to hold down the No. 1 national ranking in the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) January Poll, released over the weekend.
The Jennies earned the first No. 1 national ranking at the NCAA level in program history in the December poll.
UCM garnered 17 out of 27 first-place votes and totaled 757 points to top the rankings. Maryland-Eastern Shore received six first place votes and tallied 716 points to come in second. Nebraska received three first place nods and totaled 695 points to come in third, while Arkansas State got one first place vote and came in fourth with 607 points. Vanderbilt rounds out the top five in the rankings.
The Jennies have captured three tournament titles this season with four runner-up finishes. UCM is 60-12 overall this season.
Central Missouri is back in action Feb. 15-17 at the Morgan State Invitational in Baltimore, Md.
