(MARSHALL, Minn.) — The Central Missouri Jennies Golf team finished in 10th place at the Southwest Minnesota State Mustang Invite over the weekend at the Marshall Golf Club. The Jennies shot a two-round total of 682, 106 over par, according to a press release.
Freshman Kelly Welker finished in a tie for fourth at 12-over par after a final round 76. Kaitlyn Marsha was tied for 46th after a 176. Kayla Temple finished in a tie for 57th with a 178 and Maranda Smith was one shot back in 59th place. Alexa Boatman shot a 191 and finished in a tie for 73rd.
Minnesota State captured the team title with a 44-over par 620. Kenya Sethasompobe of MSU shot a one-over 145 to claim the individual title.
The Jens are back in action October 7 and 8 at the Central Oklahoma Classic in Edmond, Okla.
