(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) — The No. 17 ranked Jennies (3-1-1) soccer team came out on top in inclement weather conditions over MIAA rival Fort Hays State, 1-0 at the South Recreation Complex Thursday night, according to a press release.
In the 88th minute, Emily Eldridge connected on the only score of the night on a free kick to extend Central Missouri’s win streak to three games.
Sophomore goalkeeper Morgan Hartzler registered four saves (three in the second half) on the night for her second shutout of the season. The Jennies outshot the Tigers 15-5.
Central Missouri will look to keep the momentum going on Saturday as they host Nebraska-Kearney at 5 p.m.
