(OSAGE BEACH, Mo.) — The 15th-ranked Central Missouri Mules golf team finished in second place at the season-opening Missouri Intercollegiate at the Club at Porto Cima after firing a three-round total of 25-over par, 889, according to a press release.
Cy Moritz was the top finishing Mule in second place after a three-round total of even par 216. He finished four shots behind the individual champion, Julian Taylor of William Woods.
Teddy Jones finished in sixth place with a six-over 222. Travis Mays was ninth firing a 10-over par 226. Sam Migdal (+15, 231) finished in a tie for 15th place, while Robby Hughey (+18, 234) finished in a tie for 22nd.
Alex Springer played as an individual in his first collegiate tournament and shot a five-over par 221 to tie for 4th place.
William Woods captured the team title with a three-round total of 14-over par 878.
