Owen Ross Basinger was born Wednesday, June 14, and died three hours later.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 22, at Sunset Hill Cemetery with Pastor Joel Kurz officiating.

Owen was the son of Gwena and Matt Basinger. He weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces, with a length of 20 inches. Owen immediately won the love and admiration of his parents with his cute nose, his big ears, and his snuggles to his mother.

In addition to his parents, Owen is survived by his big sister, Olivia; his grandparents, Karon and Jerry Harding, Kim Basinger, Steve and Marcia Basinger, and Beverly and Larry Link; his aunts and uncles, Mark and Holly Basinger, Michael Basinger, Gavin Harding, and Jason and Chrissy Harding; his cousins, Nadia, Colton, Noah, and Destiny; and many other close family members.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Olivia’s College Fund. Checks can be made payable to Gwena Basinger and left in care of Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home. Messages of sympathy and support may be left for the family at the funeral home.
