Western Missouri Medical Center recently announced that Warrensburg Internal Medicine — formerly West Central Internal Medicine — has joined the hospital.

Internists Jayendra Astik, M.D.; Bradford Carper, D.O.; and Stuart Smith, D.O.; will continue providing prevention, diagnosis and treatment of adult diseases for this practice, according to a news release.

“We are thrilled to welcome the internal medicine staff to our WMMC team as this integration will ensure our patients a wide range of resources and services,” said Darinda J. Reberry, hospital interim president/CEO, in a written statement. “We look forward to a seamless transition.”

The internists will continue to practice in the same clinic location at 511 Burkarth Road in Warrensburg and accept the same insurance with the possibility of offering additional insurance options in the future.

Clinic hours will remain the same at 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
