(PONCE, Puerto Rico) – Central Missouri Jennies bowler Mary Wells picked up her second gold medal at the Pan American Bowling Confederation Youth Championships on Thursday as Team USA won the under-20 women’s team event title.
Wells had a high game of 249 and a 187.3 average over six games, bowling in the fourth position for Team USA. Along with teammates Natalie Goodman (192.3 average), Sarah Lokker (209) and Robyn Renslow (205.2), Team USA beat out second-place Puerto Rico and their 194.9 average.
Wells just completed her freshman year at UCM. She was named the NTCA Division II/III Rookie of the Year and a First Team All-American.
