(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) — Western Missouri Medical Center will host a free community event about overuse injury prevention on March 12.

The event will feature board-certified orthopedic sports medicine surgeon Adam Wait, DO.

The event is scheduled for 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, in WMMC’s Conference Room 1 at 403 Burkarth Road.

The overuse injury prevention seminar will kick off the first event of the series for WMMC’s 2014 “Healthy Community Initiative.” The Medical Center will host several educational events throughout the year, addressing specific healthcare topics.
